Overview:

While refueling and reloading shells expended during the raid on Arras, a tank crew belonging to Lt. Harold McGreggor was brewing tea when they were alerted to the presence of a German column advancing along the road into the rear areas north of Arras. McGreggor quickly organized the Security and Supply Company into fire teams while his crew finished loading the last of the 40mm shells into their racks. As McGreggor mounted his tank, the sounds of approaching motorcycles could be heard. A cloud of dust and roar of engine noise announced their arrival as dozens of motorcycles appeared at the end of the street. McGreggor lowered his head through the hatch and ordered his Matilda into motion.

2021-03-02(A) S. Slunt vs Paul Chamberland British winEvery one knows that against a Half competent British player that this Scenario is at least 75% pro British right? Indestructible tank with a 9-2 Armor Leader, No Cower, Hip MMC, Two mobile 36 Goliath like Trucks. Stone buildings to sit in, 8 ? counters and to top it off Bore siting and a SAN of 5.
Germans come from off board have to be on sidecars (they could move further with out them off road) - 8 squads vs 5 1/2 and 2 Crews to man 1 Gun so in essence 6 1/2 squad equivalents. The Germans have to remove all Good order British Infantry from 3 hexes of the middle of the Board- Roar has them closer but Roar does not tell you who is playing whom. This scenario should never see the light of day at another tournament. That is my two cents worth.
2015-11-06(A) Michael Rodgers vs Bill Slunt British winI split the German force and regretted it. I also had trouble deploying, which slowed down my clearing of potential HIP locations.
2014-08-13(D) Will Willow vs J. Cribbs German winVASL
2013-11-02(A) Andy Hershey vs Wayne Saunders German win[Imported from ROAR]
2013-05-12(D) Paolo Cariolato vs Enrico Granata British winMy opponent drove one of his sidecar in the location BSed by the MG and promptly lost a squad to a 3DR. Another lucky shot lost him a squad and a leader. After that he gave up any thought of driving sidecars ... the Matilda brewed up a Pz38 but by armor piearcing shell bounced off the PzIV armor which was able to find an Heat and flaming my AFV.
The 20L AA Gun accomplished nothing except a record string of 9 shot.
The ammunition truck were feared by destroyed with no loss for my opponent.
In the end the loss of 2 squad and 1 leader was too much to overcame and I won with all my OOB intact (except the AFV and the GUN)
